Gibson Marine Electrical Ltd is committed to preventing modern slavery, servitude, forced labour and human trafficking within our business and supply chain.
Financial year: 2025 · Last updated: 20 November 2025
↠Back to homeWe are a UK-based specialist marine electrical contractor operating as a single-person limited company led by Dan Gibson. There are currently no direct employees beyond the director, so day-to-day delivery is performed personally or via carefully vetted self-employed specialists when a second pair of hands is essential.
Even with a lean structure we source components and services from reputable UK and EU suppliers with clear labour standards. Any subcontractors or labour-only partners must confirm adherence to the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 before mobilisation.
We monitor guidance from the UK government and sector bodies on spotting indicators of exploitation and share any updates with the subcontractors we rely on. Concerns can be raised confidentially to dan@gibsonmarineelectrical.co.uk. Reports are investigated and escalated to authorities when required.
We review this statement each financial year and whenever our operating model changes. No instances of modern slavery were identified in the previous reporting period.
