These terms set the framework for all services provided by Gibson Marine Electrical Ltd. They apply to the agreed scope of work, delivery expectations and payment terms.

Back to homeRates, expenses and any multipliers are agreed per scope and confirmed in writing before work starts.
Working hours are agreed per scope. Overtime is any work requested outside the agreed hours or outside the normal working day for the site.
Any overtime requirement is confirmed in writing and priced according to the agreed scope.
Weekend, call-out and out-of-hours work is available by prior agreement. Higher rates apply and are confirmed in writing for each scope.
Minimum charges may apply depending on location, access requirements and mobilisation planning. Any minimum charge is agreed in writing before attendance.
Mobilisation is planned around the agreed scope, access windows and safety requirements provided by the Client.
Reasonable travel, accommodation, access and subsistence costs are charged separately where required. Any administrative time needed to arrange travel, accommodation or access is chargeable as agreed in writing.
All reimbursable expenses are supported with receipts or other reasonable evidence.
If the scope changes, the Company will provide a revised estimate and timeline for approval before proceeding.
Work outside the agreed scope is treated as a variation and confirmed in writing.
If the Client cancels or postpones work, notice should be given as early as possible. Charges may apply for committed time, mobilisation or non-refundable costs.
Invoices are issued in line with the agreed scope and are payable within the timeframe stated on the invoice.
Late payment may result in interest and recovery costs being applied as permitted by law.
The Company will exercise reasonable skill and care in delivering the services. The Company is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or business interruption, except where such exclusion is prohibited by law.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or wilful misconduct.
Engagements are delivered through a limited company and are assessed per engagement for IR35 purposes. The final status determination rests with the Client or the relevant end-hirer where applicable.
Working practices, scope control and deliverables must align with the agreed engagement terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
