Collaborated with design teams to close punch items and improve reliability before deployment.
Delivered concise handovers to operations and client teams, producing device setup guides, operation manuals, maintenance manuals and cards to a high standard while liaising with clients to meet their information needs.

Electrical Technical Officer on nuclear transport vessels, integrating improvements to ship capability and maintenance systems.

Drove quarterly improvement scheme using Power Automate to streamline health and safety observations.
Maintained and repaired power distribution, automation and propulsion systems under tight regulatory controls.
Coordinated with safety officers to keep KPIs, environmental and Lloyds tasks on track.
Built digital H&S report cards (Forms → Power Automate → Excel) so crew submissions auto-populated KPI sheets and emailed monthly to safety officers; gave ship/shore teams fast visibility on wellbeing and ship status.

🛥 Royal Fleet Auxiliary — ETO / 2nd Systems Engineer (Sep 2014–Oct 2022)

Fleet-wide ETO roles across Tide Class, Fort, Wave and Argus platforms.

Diagnosed and fixed IPMS, IBS, GPS, hybrid drives, propulsion and switchboard protection.
Authored Tide Class ETO handover notes; trained crews on FOST drills, isolations and battle damage repair.
Held Security Clearance/CTC and acted as planned maintenance manager for critical systems.
